Mrs. Sharon Grosch, LCSW, has been serving the Wilson County area since 2002 when she received her Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Tennessee. She is a licensed Clinical Therapist with an additional specialized certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy for the treatment of PTSD and trauma.
Mrs. Grosch has led a rich and varied life, lending insight and wisdom to her therapeutic approach. She has “been around a lot of blocks” and has the gained experience necessary to speak into the different stages of life that her clients may find themselves. A partner dedicated to empowering and equipping her clients to succeed at life, overcoming their struggles and adversity, Mrs Grosch believes fervently that “the greatest thing a person can do for someone, other than introduce them to Jesus, is to positively impact their life. Life is about relationships and values, not about money and things. I have a true passion about that.”
Professionally, Mrs. Grosch has honed her skills, beginning in 2002 with psychiatric hospital counseling where she served for three years. Following that, she was led to private practice and has actively seen clients for the past 15 years. During this time Mrs. Grosch served as the Director of Mental Health for the Corizon Healthcare Corporation. She has since taken the next step in her professional career by branching out independently with Grosch Counseling and is excited to have the opportunity to continue to provide exceptional care to her returning and new clients alike.
Mrs. Grosch is a published author, wife, mother, and grandmother. She is a Wilson County native, a person of the community, with a passion for giving back. Mrs. Grosch has served as an Ambassador to the Chamber of Commerce, volunteered her time and professional skills to grief and support groups, taken two mission trips to India, and is a Board Member of Miss Ellie’s Ministries.
After speaking at any length with Sharon, you will find her to be a warm, caring, and competent woman, who has truly found her calling as a therapist.
